Midsummer magic and mayhem in the woods of Merseyside

MATE Productions and Shakespeare North in association with the RSC Open Stages Programme present this spectacular promenade outdoor production of Shakespeare’s famous comedy, touring woodlands, parks and outdoor spaces across Knowsley and Liverpool.

The King of Fairyland has fallen out with his missus Titania, and now everyone is getting caught up with their magical row.  The mischeivious fairy Puck plays his tricks, as loves, passions and people are turned topsy-turvy (and in one case into a donkey).

Come into the woods with award winning MATE Productions for a magical outdoor promenade performance of Shakespeare’s most loved comedy.  With live musicians, fairy dancers, stunning design and a local cast, this production promises to be a unique, fun and family friendly show.

Camping chairs provided for outdoor seating. Don’t forget waterproof clothing in case of rain – please no umbrellas as it will obscure the view for other audience members.
