MATE Young Actors Company is open to young people from Merseyside and operates on a project basis with open auditions for each new production.
Performances will take place in a Liverpool city centre theatre in February/March 2018, at The Lowry in Manchester in April/May 2018, and potentially at the National Theatre in London in July 2018,

Rehearsals will take place every Wednesday evening from 6pm – 8pm from Wednesday 18th October at Merseyside Academy of Drama, Hope St, Liverpool city centre.

‘When They Go Low’ by Natalie Mitchell is a modern ensemble piece set in a high school. When nasty rumours spread around school about one of the girls, Louise decides enough is enough. A hard hitting, thought provoking play about social media and identity (based on a true story).
